Parallel Processing computer

S.D.H. was involved in hardware and software design of a parallel processing computer.

The computer was developed as a competitor for a single world super-computer at the time – Cray.

A working prototype system has been built and successfully tested at the Technion, Haifa.

The prototype has been compared to the VAX-9000 computer, the most powerful computer that could be purchased at the time.

The results of the test performed by VAX-9000 and the prototype system have been checked by independent company and confirmed to be identical.
