In this multi-disciplinary project, as a sub-contractor, S.D.H. developed a DSP and FPGA based control unit and the Acquisition system.
The control unit software is responsible for Laser firing control, motors control, synchronization control, and communication with main CPU unit.
The Acquisition system included and managed the front-end analog unit, and executed the pre-processing calculations. Sophisticated s/w algorithm developed by S.D.H. significantly improved the distance measurement, reduced the amount of the transferred data and speed-up allover system operation.
