ALARM module
An existing industrial printing system required implementing additional security circuitry in the interlock security chain.
Light intensity in the specific area was twice higher then direct sunlight.
Due to tight mechanical restrictions, no mechanical solution could be implemented.
S.D.H. suggested an optical, micro-controller based solution to this problem.
Even with the very high intensity background light, the sophisticate detection software algorithm and using S.D.H’s optical solution gave the required results and became part of the system interlock chain.
Dimmer
A very tight power monitoring has been required for an industrial system.
S.D.H. has developed a sophisticated dimmer for on-line monitoring, with zero cross detection. MSP430 based board with embedded s/w performed on the fly power calculation and correction.
The suggested solution became next generation solution for the industrial system.
